what is the real meaning of a specific scale

A controversial viewpoint to adopt "perfectionism scale" has became a focus point of our last seminar on Friday, 18th 2006.

Different views toward variate aspect of perfectionism has been a long argument in sport psychology literature. however, there still a long way to come to setlle an agreement. therefore, in the mean time, the researcher/s should point a particular theory in the section of introduction and list the limitation of it in discussion.

the reviewer should not take different theory of perfectionism into the discussion and argument in terms of reviewing process cause this is the view of this paper and it should be keep consistent across the whole paper. the argument of which scale should be used in the present study should put on the shoulder of researcher but not the reviewer's point of view.

and surprisingly, some scholars suggested to included different scales together in one study. this is not only a question about the advantage or disadvantage of specific measure but a decision of a which theory or background will be explain in the latter section of discussion. you can not have all the benefit of two scales without it's shortcoming of both of the theory unless the used scales were developed in the same theory background.
